In April, Yehuda Netanal, developer of Lakeland’s Lake District, decided he wanted to do something to raise funds for Lakeland Education Foundation (LEF) while also introducing and promoting Memphis Barbecue Company, a restaurant opening in The Lake District in 2020. The fundraiser came together quickly and a new concept – a pop up, drive-thru – was tested and deemed a success!
