LEF would like to thank Mrs.Turner and the LMPS Orchestra members, as well as Ms. Greenberg and the LES GLEE Club, who performed at our Barnes & Noble fundraising events. They put on wonderful performances!! We would also like to thank Matt Adler, Joretha Lockhart, the teachers, parents and children who came out to support LEF. The kids had a wonderful time. LES children were adorable in their pajamas and enjoyed milk and cookies while their teachers read them Christmas stories. The students of LMPS participated in a scavenger hunt, and a LEGO building competition. It is with your support that we are able to provide much needed support to the schools.
LEF just recently fulfilled all teacher grant requests received this year for both LES and LMPS. As a surprise to Mr. Adler, Ms. Christy (LMPS librarian), and all the children of LMPS, LEF was able to provide them with $2,000 worth of new books for the school library during the fundraising event! Again, we thank all of those who attended the event and to those who support us throughout the year. We could not do what we do without your support and generosity.
